Need An Answer?

We will send our Movement Memo email with Packet Pickup and Race Day information 1-2 weeks prior to the race. We will also post the times and locations on the city's web page and Facebook page. 

Typically, Packet Pickup is the day before the race from 1-7 PM (hours may vary based on location).

All you'll need to bring is your ticket confirmation email, either printed out or shown on your mobile device.

If you can't make it to Packet Pickup, that’s fine. You can still pick up your packet the day of the event. However, if you attend Packet Pickup you get a $5 merchandise credit that can be used towards extra swag!
Yes! You can send a friend with your signed Packet Pickup Permission Slip and/or your ticket confirmation to pick up your packet for you.  

The Packet Pickup Permission Slip can be found at the end of the Movement Memo that we will send via email 1-2 weeks prior to the race. You can also find the Packet Pickup Permission Slip on your race page. 
For those who purchased a Regular Registration, you will get a race T-shirt, color packet and temporary tattoo.

VIP Race Packets include a race T-shirt, color packet, temporary tattoo, sunglasses, sweatband, bandanna and drawstring bag!

*Race medals are included with your tickets but will be handed out at the Finish Line. 
 
There will also be plenty of super colorful swag for sale at the race including tutus, headbands, socks, extra color packets and more!
We occasionally have photographers taking pictures during and after the 5K, but if you want to get some sweet pics in the midst of all that color goodness, we recommend using a plastic baggy or plastic wrap to keep your devices color free. 
Bake a pie, torture your neighbor, create a masterpiece! But really, it's for you to throw on whoever you'd like before, during or after the race. We recommend keeping it until the Color Bash after the race, where you and thousands of others will create a huge color cloud while dancing your pants off!

Extra color packets will be for sale at our Merchandise tent at the race too!
Absolutely! We don't have a spectator's fee, so your friends and family can cheer you on and take pictures while you're running the 5K. After you cross the finish line, they can join you in all the fun at the Color Bash!
Dusting yourself and your running mates is the best way to get clean. You may want to bring towels or plastic garbage bags to sit on in your car for the ride home. 
There's no age limit at Color In Motion 5K! Our events are family friendly, and children of any age can participate! Ticket Prices are the same for kids and adults. Kids 3 and under are free!
Yes, you can! We just ask that anyone running with strollers start in the back of the race for safety reasons.
Absolutely! You can walk, run, crawl, skip,  or dance your way to the finish. This race is about getting you outdoors and active while having the time of your life! 

But there isn't any rule against keeping your own time!
Nope, sorry. Our races are pet free. We love our furry friends, but they have to stay at home. It's just to ensure everyone's safety!
Costumes are encouraged at Color in Motion 5K. Wear a tutu, a feather boa, knee-high socks or a cape!  In fact, get your whole team to dress up and be sure to send us your pics! We love seeing how creative you can get!

We will also have some awesome swag for sale at our Merchandise tent to help you complete your ensemble. 
So you want to keep that T-shirt as a trophy to your awesomeness as a runner? Try spraying vinegar on your T-shirt and letting it dry before washing your shirt. 
The color is super safe and is made out of cornstarch with food grade dye.

However, we recommend wearing sunglasses and bandannas to keep the color out of your eyes, nose and mouth. 
The color usually washes right out of shoes and clothing, but we recommend wearing older clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty, just in case.
We would love for you to volunteer for our race! You can see all of our volunteer shifts and descriptions at www.colorinmotion5k.com/volunteer.

If you are signing up a group to volunteer, do not use the comment box to tell us how many people are in your group. Each member's information must be entered separately to be assigned to a volunteer shift. If you have questions about volunteering or registering a group, email us at info@colorinmotion5k.com.
First, you'll want to check out our locations page. When you see your city, give it a nice click! You'll have two options that say "Register Now." You can pick our Regular Registration or our VIP Registration! 

When you click the ticket that you want, you'll be redirected to a form where you'll fill out all of your information. Once you submit your information, you're in! 

A confirmation email will be sent shortly after. If you did not receive your confirmation email, check your spam folder. If it's not there either, email us at info@colorinmotion5k.com. We'll be happy to assist you!
Can't make the race? Are you crazy? It's way too much fun too miss out on!

Unfortunately, we are unable to process refunds.  When you sign up you agree to our NO REFUND policy.  The planning and logistics required for putting on the event make it impossible.  Location and date are subject to change.  We do our best to keep the original date and location; however, some venues may cancel our city permits, and regulations may make it necessary to change the original date and location.  If you can't make it on Race Day, feel free to come to Packet Pickup to get your race packet and say hi!  For a small fee, we can also ship you your race packet.  Email us at info@colorinmotion5k.com if you would like your packet shipped to you.
Yes, you may transfer your ticket to another event or another person.  In order to transfer your tickets, email us at info@colorinmotion5k.com letting us know your name, email address and phone number and the event you signed up for.  Also, please include the full name, email address, and phone number of the person you're transferring your ticket to. We'll take care of the rest.
Typically, the earlier you register for the race, the more you will save! Visit our locations page for current pricing in your city.
